Hey all!

So after much finagling and modifying with the layout that was being used previously (and having nightmares about that CSS code...)
I decided to scrap that layout and start with a different one.

I'm happy to say I believe that I have the layout where I like it!

But lets be honest, I'm probably gonna end up messing with it again later on! lol.

So this weekend I got to go see a special screening of a movie about a lady named Joni Eareckson Tada.

What makes her special is that she suffered from a diving accident that left her as a quadriplegic when she was 17 and this was back in 1964 when they didn't have much as far as medical technology goes to correct that type of injury which was a severed spinal cord.

Her story is amazing in that she went from being a normal teenager, to being crippled to gaining her mobility back (mostly). She has some use of her arms and full use of her shoulders/neck but that's pretty much it.

 

Even more amazing is her testimony of faith! Imagine having no worries at all, to then wondering if you are going to die, then wondering why you haven't died, then wondering why you are crippled and what use God has for you.

Through it all, she has been an inspiration to millions through her devotion to God and her faith, despite everything that has happened to her. She is a very special person and runs the Joni and Friends ministry which provides the Gospel mission as well as helping people who are in need of mobility equipment but lack access or funding to it.

 

I would love to get a chance some day for me and my wife to meet her in person some day! She is really amazing.
