Hello friends, enthusiasts and fellow viewers!
It's time for some updates on the CRX, aka MINIREX!
It's been running great! Aside from a hiccup here and there that needed to be addressed. There was a moment when the seal to the float level screw started leaking which also caused it to flood the float bowl and the carb and cause the engine to stall. LOL that was fun trying to track down why it wasn't working...
Then there also was the issue related to the idle fuel cut solenoid failing, which made it so the car wouldn't idle unless given throttle. That got solved REAL quick by just cutting the nib off the solenoid so that the passage was always unblocked.
Still no A/C in the car which has been making for a bit of a rough summer since the temperatures here in AZ get upwards of 115F during the peak of the day!
Aside from that though, I love this car!!!

So it's been quite a few crazy moments since the last update that I've done here.
Website updated a few times (broke the template each time...)
Got a project car, Wife's Birthday, Wedding Anniversary, Thanksgiving....
Oh, that's right, my new (to me) project car!!!
It's a 1987 Honda CRX HF
The motor is the D15A2 (1488cc) carb'd Inline 4.
So far it's just needed some minor tweaking and adjusting to get it running just right, but it's coming along quite well now. Haven't yet taken it through emissions but hopefully will be able to do that soon and get it to pass.
At this moment I'm working on either being able to successfully revive the battery as it was bone dry, or possibly get a new battery, but not looking forward to dropping $100+ on a battery for it at this point. Looking at some other possibilities as there are other similar sized batteries that will fit and have similar cranking amp ratings for about half the price that the battery for this car uses.
Eventually I'm going to repaint the car and get it colored the same as my other car which is a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt. Both of them eventually will be painted Gloss black, with a red pinstripe running down the sides.
This car is tons of fun to drive and is very peppy for being only about 70hp, but that is due to the fact this car is only 1,710lbs whereas my Cobalt is 150hp and 2,800lbs.
Stay tuned for more shenanigans related to this car, gonna be posting alot more thing on it and diagrams to help anyone who may stumble across this website.
There are some more pictures of it after the page break, click the 'Read More' below!

Gonna do that this time after i get done fixing everything on it.
